Josh Madden and Five Mile Slew

A rockin’ jam band with classic rock, blues and acoustic influences, The Josh Madden
Band is fronted by Josh Madden, 27, with twin sisters Brynna and Claire Stanley, 23, on
guitar and drums and their little brother Daniel, 21, on bass. Putting their own modern
touch on classic rock songs and playing hits from the last decade as well, the band
pleases crowds of all ages.

Now playing frequently in the Monroe area at various clubs, fraternity functions and
private parties, The Josh Madden Band has become a polished band with a fun
improvisational feel that really involves the crowd. With an original album in the works,
the band looks to make an impact with a larger audience and strengthen their local
fanbase.

After teaching himself how to play guitar, piano, and
harmonica, Josh began to gather musicians and
front various bands throughout high school and
college. In 2001, he recruited Claire Stanley as
drummer. As he incorporated her into the band, he
also began to play music with her brother and
sister. After a few other band members came and
went, Brynna and Daniel eventually joined the
group.
